Jesus went on to explain more about God-followers and their place in the world-that Gentiles were welcome to the Gospel (Matthew 22:1-14), that God-followers are citizens of the Kingdom of God first and always (Matthew 22:15-22), and that salvation is not salvation without eternal life (Matthew 22:23-46). Later in the week, Jesus exposed the hypocrisy of the chief priests (Matthew 21:23-46) who claimed to fear God, but had even greater fear for the crowd. Passion Week (or Holy Week) is the week between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday. So it is that Passion Week encompasses both the strong emotion and the suffering of Christ. The townвЂ™s school district, which has struggled to cut costs ever since the Great Recession, has joined a growing number of districts across the country that now operate on a four-day week schedule. Teachers now get to sleep in or run errands, although most of them still show up at school for training-sans students, and sans some of the typical daily stress. Instead they can be seen playing sports or working part-time jobs or hunting and fishing with their families.
